We had a really amazing time at Castle Brea Farm.
Minnie and Jowan talked to us about looking after many large and small animals on the farm. We were so excited to be able to bottle feed the lambs, feed the goats, sheep and pigs and to have the chance to handle the rabbits and guinea pigs.
Seesaw is our online learning platform . On Friday's we update our class, Blog featuring and showcasing all the amazing learning that has happened in Tater Du each week.

We also use this platform to inform you of any home-learning opportunities, as well as any class news that may occur.

We are strong believers in Parent's as Partners. We love for parents and carers to contribute and share in their child's learning, whenever possible and we love hearing about all the wonderful 'Wow Moments' that happen while they are outside of school.

As a parent - you can use your child's Seesaw account to add to your child's Learning Journey by sending us messages or uploading photos to show us what they have been up to. We love to look at these with your child in the class room and talk about all the wonderful things they have done.

In Key Stage One we teach our phonics sessions, using a really wonderful scheme called 'Bug Club'.  Alongside Bug Club we also have the Phonics Bug Reading Scheme. We implement this scheme through printed and online reading books. The books will always be allocated to match your child's current phonic ability.

Your child's Bug Club account is accessible via the Active Learn Website
